Maverick Turned 15

Happy 15th Birthday to Our Baby!

This year he wanted me to remake his Ninjago birthday. Especially the cake. He wanted to dye his hair black, pierce his ears and stay in to game. We got him a new skate board for the skate park on base here he enjoys with his friends, of course every teenager wants cash, and yes, he even asked for more legos. 

He wanted to go school so we did his presents in the morning and drove them both to school.

Maverick is officially taller than me now. He is definitely strong and physically a beast. We always tell Navi she has a built in bodyguard if he'd only stay around her more when they're out with friends. He has a big heart and his dad's baby blues.

Maverick, I love every part of who you are. You are always keeping us laughing with your sometimes too dark of humor and random facts you still walk around dropping knowledge on us. I see you baby boy, and I love you so much. 

 

Mudlahhim "Muddy" The Race Horse

 

So we live right in the middle of Machell Place in Newmarket. The stables for Mr Kevin Philippart de Foy are literally our backyard. We have always wanted to go visit the stables and while the girls were here we did just that. We got to meet Mudlahhim nicknamed "Muddy" who is the sweetest! He especially liked Seth and Kenya.

Being away from all animals has been super hard for Navi and myself. This was some much needed animal therapy for us both.

THANK YOU Daisy for allowing us some time with Muddy. He was a gentlemen.

SURPRISE!!

Happy 16th Birthday Navi!!

It was Navi’s 16th birthday today (Nov19). We usually do the 16th pretty big in our house. Our Navi has been having a hard time transitioning here, she’s been missing her friends, especially her drum line family + it can be hard to find your place in a new country, new school, new life.

Most of all, in the the last 145 days since we’ve moved thousands of miles away from her sisters I knew there was one thing I needed to do...

Navi you are incredibly brilliant, unique, highly intelligent + one hell of a hilarious daughter!! I know this birthday didn't quite look the way you once imagined it to, but I hope it was everything that you needed it to be. We love you baby girl. Happy 16th Birthday!! xOxO Mom
